Shop brand-new 40ft high cube Tri Door shipping containers — extra height and three secure access points for easy loading/unloading. Durable, weatherproof, and ideal for versatile storage and transport solutions
Technical Specification: 40ft High Cube (HC) Tri-Door Container
Product Category: Multi-Access / High-Volume Storage
1. Product Overview
The 40ft High Cube Tri-Door container is a specialized evolution of the standard intermodal unit. It combines the massive 2,690+ cubic foot volume of a High Cube with a unique three-door access configuration. In addition to the standard double doors at the rear, this unit features a third high-security door—typically a single cargo door or a heavy-duty personnel door—located at the front end or on a side panel.
At Worthy Container, we recommend the Tri-Door for sites where "digging" through 40 feet of cargo is inefficient. It allows for a "dual-zone" storage strategy: large assets are loaded via the rear double doors, while smaller, high-frequency items are accessed via the third door at the opposite end or side.

3. Structural Construction & Door Action
3.1 Primary Cargo Doors (Rear End)
Design: Standard ISO double doors opening to 270 degrees.
Hardware: Four (4) galvanized locking bars with anti-corrosion bushings.
Usage: Primary entry for forklifts, vehicles, and oversized industrial pallets.
The defining feature of the Worthy Container Tri-Door:
Configuration A (End-Entry): A third full-height cargo door on the front wall (opposite the double doors). This creates a "Tunnel" effect for pedestrians while maintaining a single-door security profile at one end.
Configuration B (Side-Entry): A high-security personnel door or a single cargo door installed on the side panel.
Security: All "cargo-style" third doors include an integrated Lock Box as standard to protect padlocks from tampering.
