The 20ft Double Door container is the ultimate solution for "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) inventory management. Featuring functional double doors on both ends, these units create a "tunnel" effect that allows for seamless loading, unloading, and cross-ventilation.
Worthy Container offers these in two heights:
Standard (8' 6"): The traditional profile for site storage and general cargo.
High Cube (9' 6"): An extra foot of vertical space for tall machinery, pallet stacking, or overhead equipment.

3. Structural Construction & Materials
Steel Type: Full CORTEN steel construction. This specialized alloy is designed to resist atmospheric corrosion, significantly extending the life of the unit in outdoor environments.
Corrugation: 14-gauge corrugated side panels provide the structural "skeleton" to support the roof without center pillars.
Roof: 2.0mm thick steel with a die-stamped camber to prevent water pooling.
Material: 28mm (1.1") Marine-grade plywood.
Support: Steel cross-members (C-sections) installed at 12-inch intervals. This allows the floor to support heavy forklift traffic and high-density pallet loads without bowing.
Security: Each unit features eight (8) total locking bars (4 per end).
Seals: High-grade EPDM rubber "J-type" gaskets provide a 360-degree watertight seal on both ends.
Tunnel Accessibility: Eliminates "buried" cargo. You can access items at either end of the container without moving the entire contents.
Oversized Cargo (High Cube): The 8' 5" door height on the High Cube model is specifically designed for tall industrial equipment, commercial refrigerators, and gym racks that cannot fit into a standard container.
Passive Ventilation: By opening both sets of doors, you can clear heat, moisture, or fumes in seconds—ideal for workers using the container as a mobile workshop.
Loading Efficiency: Allows for simultaneous loading from both ends, cutting labor time in half for large-scale inventory moves.
Best For: Long-term retail storage, office conversions, and high-visibility sites.
Includes: Factory-installed Lock Boxes on both ends to protect padlocks from tampering.
Best For: Construction sites, agricultural storage, and budget-conscious industrial use.
Validation: Inspected by Worthy Container to ensure the unit is "Wind and Water Tight" (WWT) and structurally sound for heavy stacking.
Lock Boxes: Integrated steel housings on the doors (Standard on New units) prevent the use of bolt cutters or grinders on the padlocks.
Anti-Rack Hardware: The door hardware is designed to keep the frame rigid even when the container is fully loaded, ensuring the doors continue to swing freely.
Proper placement is critical for "Tunnel" containers because they have twice as many moving parts (doors) as a standard unit.
Foundation: A perfectly level surface is mandatory. If the ground is uneven, the 20ft frame will "rack" (twist). Because there are doors at both ends, a twisted frame will cause the door handles to jam and the gaskets to leak. We recommend concrete pads or leveled timber sleepers under the four corners.
Vertical Clearance: For High Cube units, ensure at least 4 meters (13 ft) of overhead clearance for the delivery truck and the container itself.
Ventilation Space: If the unit is being used to store moisture-sensitive goods, leave at least 0.5m of space around the walls for airflow.
Access: Delivered via Hiab (Crane) Truck or Tilt-Tray. Ensure the delivery driver has enough space to swing the doors open 270 degrees at both ends once the unit is placed.
